Dive Site Photos
Summary
Tupitipiti is a boat-access dive on Bora Bora's barrier reef known for a steep coral wall with extensive ledges, pinnacles and a labyrinth of caves, swim-throughs, grottos and tunnel-like channels, offering dramatic underwater topography and a popular advanced diving experience.
The wall begins in shallow water and descends beyond 30 m; dives are commonly drift dives following the reef drop-off. Water temperatures are about 26-29 °C and visibility is commonly 20-30 m in calm conditions. Entry is by boat, usually outside the lagoon. Moderate currents and the site's depth make it recommended for advanced divers; hazards are primarily natural - current and depth.
