Dive Site Photos

Summary

Toyapakeh Wall and Scope is a coral reef site characterized by broad coral plateaus, steep coral-covered walls, lush coral gardens and numerous coral bommies, offering varied terrain and multiple ledges for exploration. It is widely regarded as one of the most popular and frequently dived sites in the area. Entry is by boat onto a shallow sandy bottom, descending onto terraces at about 4–6 m before following slopes that drop to roughly 25–30 m, with walls extending to about 40 m in places. Diving is often done as a drift with the prevailing current; visibility is generally very good (often 15–30 m or more under favorable conditions) and water temperatures are typically in the high 20s °C. Strong and unpredictable currents are a known challenge, so dives are recommended for intermediate-level divers or above.
