Summary

Sachiko's Point is a steep vertical coral wall dominated by dense hard and soft corals, sponges and large gorgonians. The site is known for abundant large marine life and dramatic topography, with schools of tunas, jacks, sweetlips and emperor snappers, frequent reef sharks and regular sightings of sea turtles noted as main attractions. Dives are typically boat-entry drift dives, descending along the wall and exploring small caves and overhangs. Depths range roughly 5-30 m, with deeper wall drop-offs around 30-40 m. Visibility is usually very good, often 15-30 m or more, and water temperatures are warm year-round, typically 26-30 °C. Currents can vary from moderate to strong depending on tides, so good buoyancy control and drift-management skills are recommended; the site is best suited to experienced divers.
