Summary

Manta Point is a shallow coral-reef site renowned for its reef manta rays, which often gather to be cleaned and can be seen near the surface or between 5 and 15 m; the healthy coral bommies and ledges make it a very popular manta-viewing site. Dives are boat-access only with main manta feeding areas around 5–15 m and a reef that leads to a drop-off beyond the shallow plateau. Water temperature is about 28 °C year-round and visibility is typically 20–30 m. Currents are generally mild to moderate and dives are usually timed for the incoming/high tide when plankton flow and manta activity peak; drift-style along the reef slope is common. Divers should maintain good buoyancy to avoid contact with the reef; no unusual hazards are noted beyond normal open-water diving precautions.
