Hall Of Fame

Hall of Fame is an offshore coral reef of limestone ledges with coral, sponge growth, sea fans and dense reef formations that support a rich assemblage of tropical marine life. Permanently anchored mooring buoys mark the reef, and it is widely regarded as a popular local dive site. Access is by boat using the mooring buoys; the reef lies roughly 5 miles offshore with no shore entry. Depths slope gently from about 15 to 30 feet. Currents are usually light to moderate, permitting gentle drift dives, and visibility is often 40 to 100 feet. Water temperatures range from the low 70s °F in winter to the mid 80s °F in summer. The site is suitable for open-water certified divers. The primary hazard is boat traffic around the mooring buoys, so divers should be vigilant when surfacing.
