Dive Site Photos

Summary

Cornucopia is an offshore reef dive on the north side of Tomia Island featuring a steep coral slope that plunges into the Great Wall of Cornucopia, a sheer vertical wall covered in sea fans, sponges, soft corals and dense black coral with abundant macro life. The site is known for its spectacular vertical coral wall and rich reef life, and is popular for wide-angle photography and encounters with schools of pelagic fish. Dives typically follow the reef edge along the slope and descend the wall; depth ranges from 0 to about 55 m. Access is by boat only, with visibility often exceeding 30 m and water temperatures typically in the mid-20s to low-30s °C. Expect potential moderate currents on the wall; the main hazards noted are the depth and any currents, so divers should monitor bottom time, use appropriate ascent plans, and maintain advanced buoyancy control. No overhead caves or wrecks are present and the dive is open water with direct ascent to the surface.
