Summary

Black Rock is a coral reef site in the Dampier Strait of Raja Ampat noted as a night-dive location with rugged, coral-covered boulders and rocky outcrops that are teeming with diverse reef fish and invertebrates. The site is accessed by boat and features moderate depths with gentle slopes and ledges. Currents in the Dampier Strait can sometimes be present but conditions at Black Rock are generally favorable for day and night dives. Visibility is generally good in calm weather and water temperatures are around 27–30 °C.
