Atlantis Road

Summary
Atlantis Road, also called Bimini Road or the Bimini Wall, is a shallow underwater limestone formation off North Bimini. It consists of nearly rectangular blocks laid end to end in an arc or J-shaped alignment roughly half a mile long, with blocks up to several feet across; the weathered stones have nearly straight edges that resemble an ancient paved road and sit on a mostly flat sandy seabed.
The feature lies about 15–20 ft underwater and is accessed by boat, with divers dropping anchor and rolling in to descend onto the formation. Water is warm year-round (typically mid-70s to mid-80s °F), visibility is usually good, and there are generally no strong currents. Typical dives involve swimming along the line of blocks to inspect the stones and marine growth; there are no walls, caves, or swim-throughs and no significant depth changes, making the site suitable for beginners and snorkelers.
