Summary

Angel's Window is a twin-peaked coral pinnacle rising nearly to the surface with a large underwater cave whose opening frames sunlight in the early morning, offering an illuminated overhead swim-through. The reef slopes and wall around the pinnacle are rich in hard and soft corals and sponges, and the site is famed for macro life such as Bargibanti and Pontohi pygmy seahorses, leaf scorpionfish, coconut octopus, cuttlefish and various nudibranchs. The site is dived from boat only. One side forms a gentle coral slope to a sandy flat at about 15 m, while the opposite side drops from around 8 m to ledges and a plateau at roughly 20-32 m, with dives typically up to about 30 m. Currents are usually mild, visibility is often moderate (around 10-15 m) and water temperature is about 26-28 °C.
