Summary
Air Wall is a steep coral wall that begins around 10 m and drops to roughly 24-30 m, featuring vibrant soft corals, gorgonian sea fans, large overhangs and adjacent shallow coral gardens and bommies. Macro life is a key attraction, with frequent sightings of nudibranchs, pipefish and small crustaceans on the wall’s coral formations, and white-tip reef sharks commonly seen near cleaning stations and coral blocks around 20-25 m.
The site is typically dove as a boat-accessed drift along the wall with a recreational depth range of about 5-30 m. Moderate to strong lateral currents often run along the wall; visibility is often 15-30 m and water temperature about 28-29 °C. Entry is usually by short boat and divers follow the wall from shallow gardens to deeper ledges; strong currents are the primary hazard, so careful buoyancy control and dive planning are advised.
